AlUla este un oraș din Regiunea Medina, în nord-vestul Arabiei Saudite. Istoric situat pe ruta tămâiei, orașul se află în Guvernoratul 'Ula, unul dintre cele șapte din Regiunea Medina, acoperind o suprafață de 29.261 kilometri pătrați (11.298 mile pătrate). Orașul este la 110 km (68 mile) sud-vest de Tayma și la 300 km (190 mile) nord de Medina. Orașul (municipalitatea) acoperă 2.391 kilometri pătrați (923 mile pătrate). Populația orașului este de 5.426. AlUla a fost capitala anticilor Lihyanites (Dedanites). Guvernoratul conține primul sit din Patrimoniul Mondial UNESCO din Regatul Saudi, numit Hegra (cunoscut și sub numele de Al-Hijr, sau Mada'in Saleh / Mada'in Salih), la 22 km (14 mile) nord de oraș.
