AlUla este un oraș din Regiunea Medina, în nord-vestul Arabiei Saudite. Guvernoratul conține primul sit din Patrimoniul Mondial UNESCO din Regatul Saudi, numit Hegra (cunoscut și sub numele de Al-Hijr, sau Mada'in Saleh / Mada'in Salih), la 22 km (14 mile) nord de oraș. Hegra (Mada'in Salih) a fost construită cu mai mult de 2.000 de ani în urmă de către Nabateeni. AlUla, orașul antic înconjurat de ziduri, este plin de case din cărămidă de noroi și piatră.
